Vrindaban is situated on the southern bank of the holy Yamuna River in Braj, Mathura District, U.P. During the Divine descension of supreme God,
Radha Krishn, 5,000 years ago, Vrindaban was one
of the main leela places of Shree Krishn. It was there that Maharas, described in the Tenth Canto of the Bhagwatam, occurred on the full moon night of Sharad Poornima. Today it is one of the most important pilgrimage places in India for devotees of Radha Krishn. Shyama Shyam Dham Samiti was founded by Sushree Vishakha Tripathi under the Divine protectorship of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj in 1978. It is located in the Raman Reti area of Vrindaban.
The large granite satsang hall was completed in 1993 and has many times overflowed its capacity during Shree Maharajji’s visits, including the thrilling all-night chanting during the Janmashtmi celebrations. JKP Shyama Shyam Dham also is the home to Prem Mandir and the currently under construction Jagadguru Kripalu Hospital.

Vrindaban: Prem Mandir Temple
This monument to God’s love, Prem Mandir, is an elaborately carved, white marble wonder. Each stone of the temple has been hand carved by the hundreds of temple artisans, who have been working on this project since 2001. Its intricate beauty is enhanced by 80 panels that encircle the Temple depicting scenes of Radha Krishn leelas as described in the Bhagwatam. Two main shrines depict Radha Krishn and Krishn and Balram. This devotional center will serve all who come in search of God’s love, through knowledge and the practical experience of bhakti. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and fountains, the Temple complex will also have educational exhibits and a theater to enlighten visitors with the eternal knowledge of our scriptures.
Vrindaban: Kripalu Charitable Hospital
The once small village of Vrindaban has experienced rapid growth over the past 25 years to a current population of more than 200,000. Because existing medical facilities are unable to meet the current demands, and to fill a desperate need for health care of all kinds, JKP began construction in the spring of 2008 on the largest of the three JKP Hospitals at this location.
The two-story structure will include advanced diagnostic equipment, a fully modern pathology lab and on-site dispensary, as well as treatment rooms, operating theaters, and recovery wards. As with the other JKP Hospitals, the staff will consist of full-time volunteers, and all the medical services provided, including prescription medicine, will be completely free of charge. Construction is underway, but its continued progress is dependent on the contributions of supporters around the world.
